Compassionate Canines offers a variety of services, including:
Counseling:
- Compassionate Canines works in private practice, providing
Individual Drug/Alcohol Counseling with a speciality focus of Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT).
- Expertise in pre-adolescent, adolescent, and young adult females facing substance abuse, chemical dependency, and/or family history of addiction.
- Professional Animal-Assisted Intervention (AAI) Counseling services to local health care facilities. We specialize in working with patients who are substance abusing and/or have co-occurring issues.
- AAT programs in the Drug/Alcohol Intensive Inpatient setting. We offer individual and group counseling, as well as individually tailored approaches to implement into treatment plans.
Presentations, Workshops, and Classes:
- For professionals and volunteers- introduction to Animal-Assisted Activities/Therapy, and therapy animal classes.
- For school district employees- implementing a "therapy dog policy", protocol, and AAI program in the school-based setting.

Delta Society Team Evaluations:
- Delta Society Pet Partners Skills and Aptitude Test-- (dogs and cats only). Scheduled quarterly and by appointment only.
